A Chinese national was arrested in the Buenos Aires district of Florencio Varela on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman, which allegedly occurred in Commune 9. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the victim reported that she fell asleep during a meeting at a friend's home and, upon waking, was attacked by the suspect, who was naked on top of her. According to the victim, the alleged perpetrator was a man of robust build, 1.90 meters tall, and had Asian features, which led investigators to carry out various inquiries to confirm the individual's identity. Additionally, by analyzing cell tower impacts and IP addresses, they determined that the suspect was moving to different points in the metropolitan area. Officers from the City Police's Division of Crimes against Health and Personal Security observed that the foreigner appeared on the terrace of a house located at 2000 Sur Orcadas Islands Street, in the locality of Florencio Varela. In this context, the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 9 requested the Guarantees Court No. 8 of Quilmes to order a search warrant, which led to the suspect's arrest and the seizure of a mobile phone.
